Pwinsider has shared some backstage notes from last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, which was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Digital signs at the venue indicated that the event was completely sold out. During the show, all suites were filled, with over 11,000 attendees present.
Following the taping for next week’s episode of SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes addressed the crowd in New York, expressing gratitude for their support during both tapings. He also gifted a fan a signed Cody weight belt.
The TV segment featuring LA Knight and Nick Aldis reportedly did not air live for those in attendance.
Before the live broadcast, WWE showcased a video of archivist Ben Brown displaying SmackDown memorabilia.
And finally, actor, singer, and songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda attended the event and was seated ringside.
