As seen on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry made an appearance in the #1 Contenders battle royal. Prior to the match, he cut a brief promo.
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE NXT officials were said to have been “very happy” with the reaction that Hendry received from the NXT audience at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
Additionally, TNA sources were pleased to see that Hendry’s storyline with Frankie Kazarian was continued on NXT. With that being said, some wanted to see Hendry featured a bit longer.
It is said that Hendry is expected to make more appearances for NXT in the future.
