Over the past month or so, rumors have been circulating regarding The Rock’s status for WWE WrestleMania 41.
At the 2024 WWE Bad Blood pay-per-view event, The Final Boss returned to have a staredown with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
After reports surfaced that The Great One wasn’t planned for WrestleMania 41, he took to Instagram to say “Don’t believe that bulls**t.”
Fightful Select is reporting that multiple sources have stated that The Rock considers WWE a “priority” these days and he is expected to be part of the upcoming shows “in sporadic fashion.”
Additionally, it was noted that sources in WWE claim the reports that The Rock wouldn’t be working WrestleMania 41 came out of nowhere and they had never heard of that.
One source added that it’s hard to predict what The Rock will do six months from now. Another WWE producer said that if The Rock decides shortly before a show that he wants to make an appearance, he will.
Multiple people at the Intuit Dome, the site of the first episode of RAW on Netflix, are hopeful that The Rock will appear on the show.
Finally, it was added that the possibility of The Rock appearing at WWE Bad Blood 2024 didn’t have a lot of planning and only came a few weeks leading up to the show. WWE only received a solid confirmation that he would be appearing a few days before the show aired.
