Fightful Select is reporting that WWE did not test out Cody Rhodes’ smoke prior to the effect that took place during his 2024 Royal Rumble entrance.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar was scheduled to appear at the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The plan was nixed after the latest allegations made against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, WWE, and Brock Lesnar surfaced on Thursday. Bron Breakker, who was not originally planned to be in the match, took the place of Lesnar.
It is said that the early plans for the match involved Brock Lesnar working with many of the same wrestlers that WWE NXT Superstar Bron Breakker did in the match.
