In 2023, former King of the Ring winner Baron Corbin returned to WWE NXT, and he had a successful run, eventually winning the NXT Tag Team Championships with Bron Breakker.
Corbin was drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2024 WWE Draft and joined forces with Apollo Crews since his return to the blue brand.
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Corbin shared his thoughts on the current NXT product.
The Lone Wolf expressed his desire to conclude his career in NXT after spending an additional two to three years on the main roster, as he has a great fondness for WWE’s developmental brand.
Corbin said, “Yeah, let me get like two or three more years back on the main roster, then I’ll finish out back down there ’cause I loved it so much. Yeah, let’s go, let’s go.”
