While the Four Horsewomen never got the chance to face off against each other in a four-way match, Becky Lynch isn’t ruling it out.
Speaking on a recent edition of “The Unlikely Podcast” with Adrian Hernandez, The Man proclaimed that it could be a WrestleMania main event if it did end up coming together.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On the match never happening: “We never got that four-way match. But I think if that ever does happen, that’s a WrestleMania main event. So anything is possible.”
On the four of them having a similar mindset and goals toward the industry: “That was the driving force as well. I think that was what made it, is that we all had the same goal. We also knew that nobody could do it by themselves. It needed to be a group effort and it was a group effort, but we had this healthy competitive spirit, where it was like, ‘I want to be the top guy, I want to have the best match.’ Having that drive I think continues to push one another because rising tides lift all ships. It definitely did that.”
On changing the dynamic of women’s wrestling in WWE: “We didn’t want to accept that being just relegated to short matches and stigmas of what we could do or couldn’t do and we wanted to change that. We all wanted to change that and we did.”
Seth Rollins recently spoke with USA Today to discuss being the ‘New Mr. WrestleMania’, performing double duty at this year’s pay-per-view event, and more.
You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On being the ‘New Mr. WrestleMania’: “Nothing against Shawn Michaels. He’s incredible, the original Mr. WrestleMania. But for my generation, you’re looking at my track record, nobody can touch it.”
On doing double duty on this year’s show: “These matches at WrestleMania, they’re not like anything else you’re ever gonna see. This is special, it takes its toll on you. If anybody on planet Earth is prepared to perform two nights in a row on the grandest stage, it is moi.”
On facing The Rock: “Anything could happen out there and I gotta be prepared for that… This is not the same dude that was in a WWE ring 10 years ago, 20 years ago. This is a different animal.”
On his plan for The Rock: “I’m not going to underestimate him. I’m going to do whatever I can to make sure and treat him like he’s the biggest star possible. I’m ready for him to be in 100% shape. I’m going to be ready for him to be the very best version of The Rock. That’s the guy that I want at WrestleMania.”
