Becky Lynch has cemented her status as a megastar in WWE and now The Man is taking her talents across the galaxy in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Lynch took to Twitter to announce her role as a member of the crew in the upcoming series, the latest in the hit sci-fi series. She said,
“I am so excited to share with all of you that I am joining Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as part of the bridge crew. Lads, this has been the most incredible experience acting alongside just a spectacular cast and crew, and I cannot wait for all of you to check it out once it comes out on Paramount Plus. Hey, live long and prosper.”
Lynch has some acting experience under her belt, including being part of The Marine 6 in which her character killed off series lead Jake Carter (played by The Miz).
The former Women’s Champion also filmed a post-credits scene for Marvel’s Eternals which was later nixed for reportedly being too depressing.
The Irish wrestler finished her time with WWE in June of this year though many predict that she will return to the ring when the time is right.
Lynch herself has teased a comeback, stating that her last moment in wrestling will not be Dominik Mysterio slamming a cage door in her face.
