WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes that the recent comments from MVP relating to WWE CCO Triple H should not have played out on social media.

MVP recently claimed that Triple H refused to bring back The Hurt Business and later stated that ideas for the faction were taken and used for The Bloodline.

These comments spawned a discourse online about the faction MVP once led, as well as Triple H’s standing as WWE’s Head of Creative.

On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T acknowledged the importance MVP had with the group but wishes this hadn’t been handled in public. He said,

“MVP’s comments, he pretty much made his feelings known. And I’m sure people that need to know are aware about his feelings but I was always a huge fan of The Hurt Business. I’ve said that here many times how instrumental of a role that MVP played as far as, you know, really really almost being that legitimizer for the Hurt Business such as Sherri Martel was for us back in the day.

“Hopefully, they can work that situation out. I just think stuff like that need to be handled behind closed doors.”

The Hurt Business proved very popular after launching in 2020. The faction was ended in early 2021 despite all four members being opposed to the idea.
