Bret Hart may be known as the best there is, was, and ever will be, but the Canadian feels that a current WWE Superstar is worthy of that moniker.
On a recent edition of the “Casual Conversations” podcast, The Hitman discussed WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and had praise for the masked legend. He said,
“If I could pick one guy [to wrestle] it would be Rey Mysterio. I always forget Rey Mysterio, but I think Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He’s right up there as the best there is, best there was, best there ever will be. He’s really good. He is really special. Nobody can do what Rey Mysterio does.”
Mysterio was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023, becoming the third active talent to be inducted after Ric Flair (2008) and Goldberg (2018).
Rey’s legendary career has seen him win three WWE World Championships, as well as various other titles, in addition to the 2006 Royal Rumble match.
Mysterio’s most recent match for WWE came on the September 30th edition of Monday Night RAW where he lost to (and was unmasked by) Xavier Woods.
