During a recent appearance on the “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart commented on his recent WWE RAW appearance and when he learned he’d be sharing the ring with WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. During the segment, GUNTHER made a reference to Goldberg.
Hart said, “Maybe four, five days ahead of time [found out he’d be appearing on the show]. They called and asked me if I wanted to go down, and I was like, ‘What else am I doing?’ It was really special. I didn’t expect that kind of reaction. Of course it’s been a long time since I was walked out in front of a Calgary crowd.”
As far as GUNTHER’s reference regarding Hart being his second favorite wrestler behind Bill Goldberg is concerned, The Hitman said, “I think Bill got off light.”
