Bronson Reed says he’s going to push to keep himself in the main event picture.
Reed, who has been feuding with Braun Strowman in recent weeks and is now working with Seth Rollins, appeared on the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast to comment on what’s next for him and who he is working with backstage.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On what’s next for him: “I feel like what’s next for me is the main event scene. I’m going to push as much to be, whether that’s on Raw, whether that’s on PLEs, I’m going to try my best to stay within that main event scene.”
On who he is working with backstage: “I’m working with, you know, people … backstage with Hunter [Triple H]. I work a lot with Paul Heyman. I tell people all the time, like, the biggest influences of my career were my trainer, Harley Jackson, from Australia, then probably Hunter. But now, in the most recent, maybe the start of the year, I usually sit down and speak with Heyman every week at ‘Raw,’ and he’s just a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wrestling.”
Freddie Prinze Jr. says that Triple H has wanted WWE RAW to be a two-hour format for many years now.
As most of you know by now, WWE RAW will have a two-hour format for the rest of the year before the show moves to Netflix in January.
During a recent appearance on his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, Prinze Jr. commented on Triple H’s thoughts on the two-hour format. He said,
“This is something that Triple H wanted for a very long time. He wanted it, or mentioned it, when I was there, so at least that long. 2007 was the first time I heard him say Raw would be better if it was two hours.”
As of this writing, there’s no word on whether RAW will return to three hours when it debuts on Netflix.
