Bubba Ray Dudley has borrowed a line from AEW stalwart Chris Jericho following WWE NXT’s victory over AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday.
WWE NXT scored 619,000 viewers to AEW Dynamite’s 523,000 this week, with NXT gaining viewers and Dynamite losing viewers from the previous week.
The main event of WWE NXT saw Dudley team with Trick Williams to face off against Ridge Holland and Ethan Page, and later reunited with D-Von Dudley.
On Twitter, Bubba Ray referred to himself, D-Von, and Trick as “demo gods,” which is a line used by Chris Jericho in the past.

Jericho often used the term when speaking of Dynamite’s ratings victories over WWE NXT and the times that Dynamite surpassed 1 million viewers.
AEW Dynamite’s most recent seven-figure show was the March 23, 2022 episode which saw 1,046,000 viewers tune in.
