WWE/TNA Hall of Famer Bully Ray is hoping to see much more of Joe Hendry following the TNA star’s surprise appearance on this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
During the battle royal that opened the show, Hendry earned the pop of the night and cut a promo to the crowd but was the first man eliminated from the match.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully shared his optimism that there will be more to come for Joe Hendry in NXT. He said,
“Joe Hendry crossed paths with Shawn Michaels. When Joe walked away and said ‘you haven’t heard the last of me,’ Shawn says ‘I believe.’ So if that’s all we got from Joe Hendry, at least he got the big musical entrance. They spotlighted him. But the last thing we saw on social [media] is Joe and Shawn. So just that alone makes me believe that they can do more with Joe Hendy and NXT down the line.”
It has been reported that NXT officials were very pleased with Hendry’s appearance in the match and that he is expected to make further appearances with the brand.
TNA officials were happy that Hendry’s program with Frankie Kazarian (who is also from TNA Wrestling) was highlighted in the NXT battle royal.
hopefully there will be More In Time Bully https://t.co/zqzDKXXHx4
