On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed Vince McMahon’s recent statement about his Netflix documentary.
The “Mr. McMahon” docuseries about McMahon’s life and career is now available on Netflix.
The docuseries, comprising six one-hour episodes, delve into the various sexual misconduct allegations made against McMahon by several women over the years.
On Vince McMahon’s statement on the docuseries: “I’m surprised that Vince didn’t just call Netflix and just go: hey, I’ll stroke you a check to not air this documentary. I’m surprised that he went as in-depth as he did. I’m shocked he didn’t just try to buy it.”
On the docuseries: “Based on Vince’s statement, I don’t see how this paints him in any type of light but a negative light. He says in the statement, just by seeing the clip, that it doesn’t bode well for him.”
As we previously reported here on eWn, McMahon tried to do exactly what Ray stated. However, Netflix rejected McMahon’s proposal and moved forward with the documentary.
