Last week on WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns attempted to contact his Wise Man, Paul Heyman, but discovered that the number was no longer operational.
During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his thoughts on when Heyman might next appear on WWE television.
The former ECW wrestler speculated that Heyman would introduce the fifth member of The OG Bloodline in their WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024.
Heyman has not been seen on WWE TV since Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline attacked him at the end of June.
Ray said, “I think the next time we see Paul Heyman is when he brings that fifth member to the table. Let’s think rationally here, guys. The OG Bloodline need a fifth member, right? If it’s not Seth [Rollins]. And Seth and Paul really have no ties, and the OG Bloodline already went to Seth, and Seth said no.”
During the podcast, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer reflected on the demise of Chase U following Tuesday night’s edition of WWE NXT, during which Ridge Holland defeated Andre Chase.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On Chase U: “I liked Chase U. I really liked how it gave opportunity to a lot of men and women…I don’t like the fact that it’s gone, but I do like the fact that they’re heating up Ridge Holland. What I mean by that is he’s been a heel. He has been the heel. He’s been a heel for quite some time. He’s had a complete overhaul since his return to ‘NXT.’ And I feel it’s working.”
On why the group shouldn’t be brought back: “Don’t bring it back because it was a stipulation, and then you’re crapping on all those fans that were there and invested. I hate when pro wrestling has done that. If you want to take it a different route…listen, where a lot of talent fits in, it’s also the end of the year. 2025 is right around the corner. I think Chase U…it’s going to be beneficial for these talents to try and get over without that.”
