The Queen is officially coming back to WWE soon as a vignette aired to build hype for Charlotte Flair on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

While Flair’s return vignette didn’t indicate exactly when she will return, it’s safe to assume a target date could very well be the 2025 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
What we do know about what’s coming next, though, is some of the lineup for next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
After their win this week over Los Garza, The Motor City Machine Guns have earned a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin will face Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa soon, but a date for that match has not yet been announced.
In the meantime, DIY have been trying to enlist Kit Wilson and Elton Prince to help them avoid having matches with MCMG and The Street Profits as of late, leading to a tag tea match next week where The Motor City Machine Guns will face Pretty Deadly.
Also on tap for next week is a showdown with LA Knight against Tama Tonga.
This came about after Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga were beating down on Jimmy Uso and Carmelo Hayes up until Knight and Braun Strowman came out to make the save.

Elsewhere already announced for other shows, just to recap in case you missed it, are that Shawn Michaels will be moderating a contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, and Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson will get their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship shot against Bianca Belair and Naomi on the January 28th episode of NXT.
