Chelsea Green has shared details as to how her role at Money in the Bank came together following an epic Ladder Match in her native Canada.
Green was one of six women who competed in the 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match and was sent through several tables by eventual winner Tiffany Stratton.
On commentary, Michael Cole stated that Chelsea Green was afraid of heights and this fear played heavily into her role during the match.
Appearing on “The Masked Man Show” podcast, Green gave props to Ken (Dykstra) Doane and Petey Williams for helping with her role in the match. She said,
“Ken Doane and Petey Williams, they are… I owe everything to them. They are me. I am them. When they come up with things for me, it is so me. When I come up with crazy ideas, they are the ones that are like, ‘Yes.’ They helped produce that match and they were the ones that told the story.
“I actually did not tell commentary anything. I was so caught up in the day and the match and how much is going on backstage at Money in the Bank. They told commentary what the story was. I did not know until my dad texted me and said, ‘I didn’t know you were afraid of heights.’ The way the pieces came together was unbelievable. We did not know we were telling that story. We kind of walked that story in that day.”
On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Stratton attempted to cash in on Women’s Champion Bayley before thinking twice after being confronted by Nia Jax.
Jax, the 2024 Queen of the Ring, will challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Title at SummerSlam on August 3, if Stratton does not cash in first.
