The upcoming civil trial involving WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, initially set for October 2024, has been rescheduled for March 2025.

This trial is connected to a lawsuit filed by the estate of Julian Lasseter, who tragically died in a traffic accident in March 2022 involving Sytch.

The decision to postpone the trial was reached during a recent hearing at The Circuit Court of the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Volusia County, Florida.

The lawsuit, which seeks damages exceeding $30,000, outlines the sequence of events leading up to the tragic incident:

* On March 25, 2022, Tammy Sytch was allegedly drunk while driving southbound on N. Yonge Street, near the intersection of W. Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida.

* At the same time, Julian L. Lasseter was also traveling southbound on N. Yonge Street at the same intersection.

* The lawsuit alleges that Sytch negligently operated her vehicle, resulting in a collision with the rear end of Lasseter’s vehicle. The impact caused severe and incapacitating injuries to Lasseter, leading to his death on the same day.

The trial delay allows both parties more time to prepare, but it also extends the resolution of the tragic incident.

Sytch is currently serving a 17-year sentence due to criminal convictions related to the accident.
