CM Punk and Roman Reigns discussed their differences leading up to WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
During Friday’s broadcast, a segment was aired featuring the two hesitant partners trying to resolve their conflicts.
Punk initially made Reigns and Paul Heyman wait before he finally arrived, just as The Original Tribal Chief was preparing to leave.
Punk stated that he was there to support Heyman, while Reigns said he didn’t require assistance and disliked Punk’s demeanor.
Reigns mentioned that he wasn’t interested in teaming up with Punk, prompting Heyman to step in as a mediator.
Heyman pointed out that Solo Sikoa had been a challenge for them since after WrestleMania and urged Punk and Reigns to come together.
Punk admitted that he had no fondness for Reigns and sought payback against Solo and the New Bloodline for what had transpired with Heyman.
Punk proposed that after WarGames, he and Reigns could resolve their issues differently.
Both Reigns and Punk concurred that this would be a one-time collaboration, and Punk remarked, “One time, one favor.” However, he clarified that Reigns wouldn’t owe him the favor; it would be owed to Heyman.
After Punk’s departure, Reigns inquired with Heyman about the nature of the favor, to which Heyman replied that they would discuss it after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

On Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Michin became the latest participant to advance to the semifinals of the WWE Women’s US Championship Tournament.
Michin defeated Lash Legend and Piper Niven to progress in the tournament after she interrupted a pinfall attempt by Legend and subsequently pinned Niven.
Michin will compete against the winner of Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Elektra Lopez in the semifinals, which takes place on next week’s show.
In the other semifinal match, Chelsea Green will face Bayley. The winners will compete in the finals at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
