Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes returned to action at this week’s WWE live event in Jacksonville, after weeks away from the ring.
In the main event of the show, Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in a steel cage match. Rhodes took off his neck brace before the match.
Rhodes had been out of action since Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he retained the Undisputed WWE Title against Owens.
After the show, Owens attacked Rhodes with a package piledriver and has since declared himself the ‘Real’ WWE Champion.
Rhodes has been confirmed for WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix, though a match has yet to be confirmed for Cody on the January 6, show.
