Cody Rhodes has made history by becoming the fourth wrestler to win back-to-back WWE Royal Rumble matches.
Rhodes officially punched his ticket to WrestleMania XL by emerging victorious in the 2024 men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match.
Last year, Rhodes made his grand WWE return by winning the very thing that eluded his late father Dusty Rhodes. The American Nightmare entered the match at #30 and eliminated five Superstars to win the 2023 men’s WWE Royal Rumble match.
This year, Rhodes entered the men’s Royal Rumble Match at #15 and eliminated four Superstars.
The final three came down to Rhodes, CM Punk (#27), and GUNTHER (#18).
Rhodes went on to eliminate both GUNTHER and Punk to win the 2024 men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match and etch his name in WWE history.
Rhodes joins “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, and Shawn Michaels as the only four Superstars to have won consecutive Royal Rumble matches in WWE history.
