The expletive-laden promo of Cody Rhodes during this week’s episode of RAW included a subtle nod to one of his first feuds back in AEW.
On Monday’s edition of RAW, Rhodes held nothing back with his comments about The Rock, and at one point referred to The Bloodline’s newest member as a “carny succubus.”
Fans with a good memory pointed out that Rhodes used the same line against Chris Jericho during his 2019 feud with AEW’s first World Champion.

Rhodes and The Rock will be on opposite teams for the stacked tag-team match at WrestleMania 40 (Night One) which will almost certainly headline the show.
The next night, Rhodes will challenge Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This will be Cody’s final shot at Reigns’ title, a stipulation introduced by The Rock.
