UFC fighter Conor McGregor is eager to step into a boxing ring with WWE’s Logan Paul and is in discussions to make a potential fight a reality.
On Twitter, McGregor shared that he is talking with the Ambani family, the richest family in Asia, about facing the former U.S. Champion.
The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.
I have agreed.
I will then seek my return to the Octagon.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) December 17, 2024
Though best known for his MMA career, McGregor boxed Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in an exhibition in 2017. Paul has also fought Mayweather.
McGregor has been out of action since 2021 after suffering a broken leg in a fight. He was supposed to face Michael Chandler this year before plans fell through.
Earlier this month, McGregor was found liable for assault in a civil rape case and was forced to pay his victim £200,000. He intends to appeal the decision.
Paul recently ‘retired’ from WWE after becoming a dad. His most recent match saw him lose to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024.
