On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, D-Von Dudley discussed the Dudley Boyz’ run in WWE and how they headlined shows with The Hardys and Edge & Christian.

D-Von said,There were tag team guys that did not main event in WWE. But the Dudleys, Edge and Christian, and the Hardys did; it was on ‘Raw,’ ‘SmackDown,’ and live events. We had built up that type of chemistry with each other where we were able to show that we could carry a main event status on a show, and we did that. There was never a tag team [in WWE], correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t even think the Road Warriors even did that, where they were main eventing, closing out a show.”

In a recent appearance on the “Cheap Heat” podcast, Becky Lynch discussed Kevin Patrick’s “heartbreaking” departure from WWE in January.

Patrick joined WWE in March 2021 and became the lead announcer for RAW in October 2022. He then moved to SmackDown in August 2023, before being released.

Lynch said, Yeah, it was. It was. It was heartbreaking. We all loved him. We loved him. I love him. He’s great, and he’s so great, and he was always working so hard. He would always find you, ‘What do you want me do talk about? Let me take all these notes.’ He was always asking and always asking trying to improve and trying to get better and tell the best story, and that goes a long way too, that he cared enough to always be doing that. He was great.

Becky Lynch’s memoir, The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, March 26.
