D-Von Dudley would rather work for Paul Heyman than Vince McMahon and believes the comparison between the two men is not even close.
D-Von worked for Heyman for several years as part of the original ECW before he and Bubba Ray Dudley left for WWE in late 1999.
In a recent video on his YouTube channel, D-Von explained why he prefers Heyman over McMahon. He said,
“Who do I feel was the greatest boss to work for, Paul Heyman or Vincent Kennedy McMahon? It’s a landslide with Paul. He’s been winning just about all of them. I love you, Vince, don’t get me wrong, but the bond that I had with him before I met you—oh, that kind of takes over. So, I’m sorry, but no hard feelings. Paul was just somebody that made you feel connected to him. He made you feel like he genuinely cared—because he did.”
McMahon resigned from WWE in January 2024 over Janel Grant’s lawsuit. The 79-year-old billionaire has denied all wrongdoing.
Heyman was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year and remains a part of WWE programming as Roman Reigns’ special counsel.
