The UFC has had plenty of influence on WWE and changes to the promotion’s production, according to UFC President Dana White.
WWE and the UFC were merged as part of TKO Group Holdings in September 2023, after Endeavor announced in April they were to acquire WWE.
This year has also seen WWE explore different production ideas thanks to the arrival of Lee Fitting who has replaced Kevin Dunn.
In a recent interview with Johnny Resendiz, Dana White was asked whether UFC would experiment with similar camera angles. He said,
“Don’t you find that weird that we got involved in WWE not too long ago and now they’re experimenting with that? [Laughs]. Our production team has a lot of influence over what’s going on.”
WWE and the UFC came together earlier this year for NXT Battleground, which marked the first WWE pay-per-view event held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
