On a recent edition of his “Pod Meets World” podcast, actor Will Friedle discussed his time at WWE RAW’s debut episode on Netflix. He said,
“Everyone with belts and signs, every age, every color, every gender, everything is represented. It is the most beautiful hodgepodge of people you’ve ever seen in your life.”
Friedle was with Danielle Fishel at the historic episode of RAW. Both appeared in Boy Meets World as Eric Matthews and Topanga Lawrence respectively.
Friedle has also had a notable voice acting career with roles including Ron Stoppable in Kim Possible and Terry McGuinness/Batman in Batman Beyond.
Despite this, only Fishel was acknowledged at RAW. On the podcast, Fishel discussed her long-term love of pro wrestling which dates back to the WWF days.
Fishel explained that she always enjoyed going to see RAW and WrestleMania and while she’s sometimes fallen out of watching, “it always pulled me back in.”
