Dominik Mysterio’s kiss with Liv Morgan at WWE SmackDown 2024 was an unplanned moment of passion, according to the ‘Dirty’ Superstar.
Mysterio and Morgan locked lips after Morgan retained the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at the August pay-per-view event in Cleveland.
On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, Mysterio spoke about the kiss and how it was a spur-of-the-moment action. He said,
“No, I had no idea [I’d do it.] I didn’t even know I was going to grab her face. I was just kinda’ in the moment kind of deal. Honestly, I didn’t even know I was going to kiss her until like probably two hours prior. Just a personal decision. Because I didn’t want anyone to know, Finn kinda’ had an idea of it. But yeah, I wasn’t. I wasn’t kind of thinking about it at all, and then it kind of just happened.”
Since SummerSlam, Morgan and Mysterio have been aligned on-screen and ‘Dirty Dom’ has repeatedly aided Liv in title defenses.
On next week’s episode of WWE RAW, Mysterio will face a former World Champion and will earn a title match with GUNTHER if he can win.
