Kicking off tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, there was an announcement for a change to the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
In a promo segment where Morgan was expecting Ripley to say she wasn’t cleared to compete, The Eradicator said she was perfectly fine and cleared. But on top of that, Rhea informed the champion and Dominik Mysterio that Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has decided to make sure Dirty Dom won’t be able to interfere in the title match by locking him inside a shark cage.
Considering this event is also set to have a Hell in a Cell match, it fits the theme of the night. How WWE will manage to have both steel cages hanging on the same night remains to be seen, but Ripley’s wording does imply Dom will be hanging from the shark cage above the ring, rather than the cage being placed placed around the stage or ringside similar to what happens at WarGames.
