Fightful Select is reporting that despite taking a hard bump during his match at WWE Backlash 2025, Drew McIntyre was reportedly doing fine afterward. He was evaluated as a precaution, but no serious issues were noted.
Damian Priest sustained a dental injury during the show. While the issue didn’t appear to be serious, one source mentioned that he “wasn’t thrilled” about it.
As for Lyra Valkyria, there has been no official confirmation on whether she suffered a broken nose, despite Michael Cole referencing the possibility during the WWE Backlash: St. Louis broadcast following her victory over Becky Lynch.
On a related note, Valkyria’s fiancé, LJ Cleary, made an appearance during the broadcast. Cleary is one of the most active international independent wrestlers today, having competed in over 100 matches per year for the past four years. He is also a regular with Pro Wrestling NOAH.
