The hostile response to Hulk Hogan at WWE RAW’s Netflix debut is hardly a surprise, according to EC3, given that the Hulkster entered politics.
During this week’s edition of the red brand, fans in LA’s Intuit Dome made their views clear on Hogan, who appeared to promote his beer brand.
On a recent edition of the “UnSKripted” podcast, EC3 weighed in on the frosty reception that the Hall of Famer receives. He said,
“I think it’s the cavalcade of things all boiling up being over, and one thing you have to recognize, though, if you are gonna dabble in the hellish landscape that is the political arena, you are going to turn yourself into a patsy for the reactions you are going to get depending on who you are around and where you are at. So it’s like you enter that arena, you have to expect that’s gonna happen.”
EC3 added that booing can often be infectious among fans and that audiences have the right to boo since they paid for their ticket.
Hogan being booed has transcended the world of wrestling with various media outlets reporting on the reception the Hulkster received.
