NWA Worlds Champion EC3 is confident that Ricochet will be just fine outside WWE amid reports the “One and Only” will soon be a free agent.
Ricochet has reportedly told WWE that he plans on leaving once his contract with the company expires this summer.
On a recent edition of the “Wrestling Outlaws” podcast, EC3 discussed Ricochet’s future and has high hopes for the inaugural WWE Speed Champion. He said,
“He did very well in the WWE. I am sure he has done very well financially in the WWE, he’s probably pretty set. Now is the time, a talent like that, they can do what they usually do. They can go back to the roots, or they can take like giant risks and kind of like re-invent who they are. Create something new possibly, and wonderful, who’s to say? What’s going through his mind though is probably… I don’t think he has anything to worry about. That’s for sure.”
During a recent edition of WWE RAW, Ricochet was attacked by Bron Breakker and sent away in an ambulance, effectively writing him off TV.
Despite efforts by WWE for one more appearance to capitalize on the buzz Ricochet’s impending exit has garnered, it is believed fans have seen the last of him on TV.
