Eric Bischoff has shared his take on why The Undertaker wasn’t booed like Hulk Hogan last week, despite both men sharing the same political beliefs.
Both Hogan and The Undertaker endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. Hogan has blamed the response he received on politics.
On a recent edition of his “Wrestling Time Machine” podcast, Eric Bischoff weighed in on why The Undertaker wasn’t booed. He said,
“I think the heat he got was a lot more because he was front and center with Trump. And in response, people are gonna say yeah, what about Undertaker? First of all, Undertaker didn’t come out and cut a promo. Undertaker rode in on a motorcycle, did a lap, and said goodbye. It’s a different scenario.
“Yes, ‘Taker interviewed Donald Trump. Taker makes no bones about the fact that he is a conservative, but Undertaker wasn’t out there in his full gimmick, campaigning for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in this case.”
Hogan appeared multiple times on a public stage with Trump during the campaign, while The Undertaker hosted Trump one time on his podcast.
Bischoff recently discussed how Hogan and Trump are ‘joined at the hip’ and that WWE fans know this. Click here to find out more.
