As we previously reported here on eWn, Brad Blum, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of WWE, tendered his resignation on May 1, citing personal reasons as the cause.
Pwinsider is reporting that Blum worked his last day on May 3 and is officially no longer associated with the company. However, no information is available yet regarding the appointment of his successor.
As previously reported here on eWn, a new docuseries titled “Who Killed WCW” is set to debut on June 4. The series, produced by The Rock’s Seven Bucks production company and Vice TV, will comprise four episodes.
You can check out the official synopsis of the series below:
“Who Killed WCW? : In the late ’90s, three years after achieving the unthinkable by becoming the biggest wrestling company in the world, WCW would self-destruct. Now, the accusations fly in a wild, probing, and star-studded investigation into the demise of Ted Turner’s WCW.”
On Monday’s episode of RAW, Sheamus faced off against GUNTHER for the third time in a match that has been billed as their final encounter.
GUNTHER emerged victorious, thereby advancing in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament and ending their trilogy of matches. This was their third meeting, having previously fought twice in 2022 at Clash at the Castle and an episode of SmackDown.
Sheamus tweeted, “There aint gonna be no quadrilogy so 3-0 is the final tally. I am done. Some will argue he tapped, he used a weapon, he had outside interference.. ok! give him bragging rights, I fought fair & with honour. Those who cheat to win are only fooling themselves & the dim witted.”
