The WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship has changed hands with Fallon Henley now holding the gold after a gauntlet match at Sunday night’s NXT Halloween Havoc pay-per-view event.
Since Fatal Influence had spun the “Spinner’s Choice” option on the wheel, they decided on the pre-show that the gimmick of the match would be a gauntlet. That stipulation proved successful, along with some more interference, as Kelani Jordan defeated Jazmyn Nyx, then Jacy Jayne, but fell to Henley, who has now just captured her first singles championship after previously holding the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship titles alongside Kiana James.
After the match, Henley was trying to cut a promo about her title win, saying “statement made”, but was immediately interrupted by Zaria. Appearing behind Fatal Influence, Zaria took all three of them out, making a statement in her own right that she’s coming for the Women’s North American Championship.
Fatal Influence’s days with the title may already be numbered mere moments after winning it, but that remains to be seen.
