Finn Balor Says Lowest Point Of His Career Came In WWE

Finn Balor has had plenty of highs and lows in his wrestling career, but the Irish Superstar’s worst chapter came in 2022 as part of the WWE roster.

On a recent edition of the “What’s the Story” podcast, Balor discussed his WWE run and shared for the first time what he considers his low point. He said,

“I haven’t said this publicly, ever. But, the two months before I turned heel was probably the lowest I’d been in my career, with respect to investment level, the personal investment. I was just showing up, I was going, ‘Yeah, who do you want me to lose to today?’ It was just kind of the same s**t that I’d been doing over and over again and I was doing the same act for so long and I just felt like I had so much more to give.”

Balor turned heel for the first time on WWE’s main roster in June 2022 by joining The Judgment Day, an act that also saw Edge ousted as the group’s leader.

In the two months before this, Balor had feuded with the faction and had lost the WWE United States Championship to Austin Theory.

Today, Balor is in his third reign as a WWE World Tag Team Champion. He has held the titles twice with Damian Priest and currently reigns with JD McDonagh.
