The first women’s match on WWE Speed is officially in the books and saw Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY take on fellow RAW Superstar Lyra Valkyria.
The match was the first bout in a tournament to crown the first-ever WWE Speed Women’s Champion. SKY got the win in 2:18.
The WWE Speed Women’s Championship was confirmed in August of this year and an eight-woman tournament will determine the inaugural champion.
With her win, SKY has advanced to the semi-finals and will face the winner of next week’s match between Naomi and Blair Davenport.
