During a recent appearance on “The Rob Brown Show,” 5-time WWE Women’s Champion Bayley shared her thoughts on collaborating with Paul “Triple H” Levesque and how the WWE CCO ensures that every member of the roster feels acknowledged and valued.
Triple H, who previously held a similar position during Bayley’s tenure in NXT, currently leads the creative direction in WWE.
Bayley said, “I still can’t believe the era we’re in right now. Us NXT kids that grew up with him in that era are super lucky that he’s so familiar with us. We got a little taste of it then, but it’s so different now where it’s on a much larger scale, and somehow he still makes time for everybody. In NXT it was different, we were a smaller roster and smaller arena to fill. Even now, he still makes time for us, from top to bottom from Randy Orton to me to anybody on the show. That helps the feeling backstage. He makes you feel seen and like he has your best interest at heart. That does a lot for our morale and goes a long way.”

During a recent appearance on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long called the backstage angle “outstanding.”
Teddy said, “I thought it was outstanding. One of the greatest backstage or outside angle… well it’s been done like that before but back in the Attitude Era, but what they saw there is something from the Attitude Era. I thought it was great, it was worked out, I mean that was absolutely great.”
