WWE Friday Night SmackDown is set to undergo more changes beyond its transition from FOX to the USA Network, as it will switch to a three-hour format beginning tonight.
Dr. Chris Featherstone is reporting that a major objective of SmackDown going forward will be to showcase more underutilized Superstars on the show.
Additionally, Blair Davenport is a name that has been “discussed for more television time and will ‘be off and running’ with the new format.”
Davenport was called up to the main roster in the 2024 Draft, but her television appearances have been limited since then.
Davenport last wrestled in late November, losing to Chelsea Green in a WWE Women’s United States Title Tournament First Round Triple Threat match.
