A former WWE name has joined the company’s writing team.
Fightful Select is reporting that Eric Watts, a former Tough Enough competitor, was recruited to join the WWE SmackDown writing team full-time.
Watts has been involved in the pro wrestling industry for over a decade and previously appeared for TNA and AEW.
Watts participated in the 2011 season of Tough Enough alongside other contestants like Cameron, Matt Cross, Marty the Moth, and Ivelisse, where he was the seventh person to be eliminated.
Prior to this, Watts had only worked for WWE on an occasional basis as an extra.
