On a recent edition of his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former WWE creative team writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shared his perspective about The Judgment Day, the finish to Cody Rhodes vs. Logan Paul, and more.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On where they could go: “It’s obvious that things aren’t going well and there’s no clear leader. Liv Morgan is infiltrating them somehow and getting her hooks into Dominik Mysterio, and she’s literally going to take everything from ‘Mami.’ … What if it’s all happening on purpose so that when Rhea comes back, she is then proven the leader and she pulls them all back together?”
On his fear for the group: “Every single storyline, even the ones that died under Triple H’s watch, have all played a part later down the road. You see people run into each other again and that history remains the same.”
On Cody vs. Logan finish: “I think it’s going to be a no-contest. I think there’s going to be interference in the match. It’s going to be someone interfering to start a storyline with Logan Paul or start a storyline with Cody Rhodes. If it’s Logan Paul, I think, LA Knight and Logan Paul, I think, would tell a cool story to see who gets to keep that title,” said Prinze. “As far as Cody goes, I don’t know who his next opponent could be, but it’s going to be that person who stops that match so you don’t get that finish.”
