Bill Goldberg will be more than ready physically for his final wrestling match in 2025, according to the Hall of Famer’s son Gage Goldberg.
The elder Goldberg shared last month that his retirement match will come next year, though an opponent has yet to be confirmed.
While speaking with Bill Apter for SportsKeeda, Gage discussed his father’s training and mentality ahead of his last match. He said,
“He’s got a little while to prepare, I know he works his butt off in the gym every day. He’s getting his cardio up. I already know that he’s gonna be ready for that fight 100%. I don’t really know if age can be a factor with my dad because he’s just got it [points to head]. It’s a switch in his head that when it’s flipped, it’s just game over.”
At Bad Blood 2024, Goldberg had a confrontation with GUNTHER, leading to speculation that the Austrian will be Bill’s final opponent.
Gage may soon be stepping in the ring himself, as he has the number of Triple H. Click here to find out more.
