After weeks of vignettes airing to hype up his return, Giovanni Vinci lost a singles match to Apollo Crews in less than five seconds on Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
On this week’s show, Vinci made his return to face off against Crews. The finish came after a quick roll-up from Crews as soon as the bell rang. As you’d expect, Vinci looked on in disbelief as Crews escaped up the ramp.
This marked Vinci’s first WWE TV appearance since Ludwig Kaiser turned on him during the April 22nd episode of RAW. He was drafted to the WWE SmackDown brand shortly thereafter.
