Giulia Makes WWE Debut At NXT No Mercy, Roxanne Perez Retains Title

Roxanne Perez retained her WWE NXT Women’s Championship over Jaida Parker at NXT No Mercy 2024 in Denver, Colorado, scoring a pinfall with a Pop Rocks. But the bigger story was what happened after the match, as when Perez was celebrating her victory, some music would hit for the entrance of Giulia, making her WWE debut to come out to confront Perez.

Giulia’s debut has long been in the waiting, dating back to even WrestleMania XL weekend. At NXT Stand & Deliver, she was sitting in the crowd for the show, but wouldn’t confirm reports of her signing for quite some time. Eventually, on July 30th, Giulia announced her final match for Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion would be August 19th before she would head to WWE.

Since then, she had been even more heavily teased, including last week on NXT when Parker and Perez were speaking to someone off-camera, who we can assume was meant to be Giulia — though it is important to note that that hasn’t been entirely spelled out as a fact, so it could be someone else, such as Stephanie Vaquer, who is expected to make her NXT debut soon after clearing up visa issues.

What do you think of Perez retaining and Giulia making her debut? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
