Goldberg collaborated with several former football players in the wrestling arena, and he expressed his enjoyment of that experience.
During a recent appearance on the “Going Ringside” podcast, the WWE/WCW icon shared his experience working with Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Kevin Greene, and The Rock.
Goldberg said, “That’s my job. That’s what I do. It was fun. I mean, McMichael, it was awesome to be able to share the ring with him. Kevin Greene, people forget about Kevin being a part of it.”
He continued, “Obviously, The Rock, everybody knows who that is. It was different for me, being able to work with those guys, because they understood. They knew what I went through. They knew the back story. They had lived the lives I had before I did.”
Johnny Gargano has a history of rivalry and partnership with Tommaso Ciampa, and he recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of facing each other again.
During a recent appearance on the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Gargano was asked if fans could expect to see him wrestle Ciampa soon.
Gargano responded that their relationship is currently positive, but circumstances might change in the future.
Gargano said, “Everyone always asks that. I think it’s always gonna be the question that’s asked of me and Tommaso, whenever we’re teamed up, is when is that going to happen again? As of right now, speaking in current day, me and Tommaso get along very, very well. I don’t want to say we’re in a different part of our lives, we’re both dads now. So maybe things are a little different for us.”
He continued, “But I will say, we are incredibly excited about the tag team division, incredibly excited about what the future holds for that, incredibly excited about what the future holds for DIY, and I will always say, you never know what can happen in the future. Obviously, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, together or against each other, people want to see it, which is a good thing.”
