Goldberg Feels Guilty Over ‘Undeserved’ WWE HOF Induction

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bill Goldberg shared his experience of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and expressed the range of emotions he felt during the induction ceremony.

Goldberg conveyed that there is a significant responsibility associated with such an event and acknowledged that he did not fully enjoy the experience, citing that he did not fully live in the moment. He said,

“There’s so much of a responsibility on a night like that. I didn’t have as much fun as I should’ve had, because I never really live in the moment.”

While expressing gratitude and enthusiasm for the honor, Goldberg described the induction as “overwhelming” and “underserved,” acknowledging that unlike many wrestlers who dedicated their lives to the craft, he had not pursued wrestling his entire life and feels a sense of guilt about the induction. He stated,

“For so many people who have dedicated their lives to the craft, I always will forever feel guilty that I get any accolade.”

Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
