GUNTHER didn’t just retain the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but he also earned some kudos backstage.
At the event, GUNTHER retained his title against Damian Priest and Finn Balor, marking the Austrian’s 4th televised defense with the gold.
During the match, GUNTHER attempted a powerbomb on Priest, and despite Priest’s feet being caught on the steps, GUNTHER saved the spot.

According to Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, GUNTHER’s raw strength earned praise backstage for saving the dangerous spot near the steps.
