After winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam 2024 this past Saturday in Cleveland, GUNTHER is already up against a challenge of a lifetime.
At the start of this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, GUNTHER’s celebratory promo was interrupted by Randy Orton, who promptly put out a challenge to the new champion for WWE Bash in Berlin.
On the grounds that not only is he the only man who can properly measure up to GUNTHER, but also because The Viper’s shoulders were up in their King of the Ring tournament final match (wherein GUNTHER won the title shot to begin with), Orton appealed to GUNTHER’s ego. A tainted win is not what The Ring General wants, so he easily accepted.

GUNTHER will be walking into Berlin with more of a home field advantage, but going up against The Legend Killer will require more than that to come out on top.
