Reports continue to surface regarding the 10 to 12 WWE releases that occurred this week. Meanwhile, several WWE Superstars have fueled speculation through cryptic social media posts, though there’s currently no confirmation of further roster cuts.
Chelsea Green sparked rumors after sharing what seemed like a farewell message following her recent loss of the WWE United States Championship. Despite the post, Fightful Select is reporting that Green remains with the company and is scheduled to appear on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
Shotzi also raised eyebrows with a dramatic self-produced promo that had fans questioning her status. However, sources confirm there’s no discussion of her release. In fact, her promo was reportedly well-received backstage for its originality.
Similarly, Austin Theory posted a vague and ominous message online, prompting further speculation. As of Friday morning, however, he remains an active member of the roster.
At present, there’s no internal word of additional talent releases. That said, WWE roster changes are often made without advance notice and rarely leak beforehand — catching both talent and the media by surprise.
