During the recent DDT Pro Wrestling Kyoto event, wrestler Shinichiro Kawamatsu emerged victorious in a match by utilizing the Axe Bomber, a move for which he obtained authorization from WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.
The Axe Bomber was frequently used by Hogan as his finishing maneuver during his matches in Japan.
Subsequently, DDT released a video in which Hogan and Kawamatsu acknowledged the aforementioned account.
Hogan said, “My number one protege [Kawamatsu] will start using the Axe Bomber! Everbody in New Japan, everyone in Shin Nippon Pro Wrestling, whatcha’ gonna’ do when the new Axe Bomber runs wild on you, brother?!”
